KVKK Privacy Notice

This privacy notice has been prepared by Prof. Dr. Ersin Gündoğan, in his capacity as data controller, pursuant to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), in order to inform persons who visit this website and persons who make contact by e-mail.
No Forms on This Site
This website contains no contact, appointment or registration form; no personal data such as your name, telephone number or health information are collected through the site. Hospital appointments are made through the Ministry of Health's Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS); the Ministry of Health's privacy notice applies to data processed in MHRS.
Contact by E-mail
When you send an e-mail to dr.ersingundogan@gmail.com, your name, your e-mail address and the information you share in your message are processed for the purposes of assessing your request, replying to you and, where necessary, scheduling an in-person examination. You are not obliged to share your health information in your message. If you do share it, this information is used solely for the purpose of medical assessment and within the scope of the physician's duty of professional secrecy.
The legal grounds for this processing are that it is directly related to the establishment of a contract, pursuant to KVKK m.5/2(c), and legitimate interest, pursuant to m.5/2(f). With regard to health data, reliance is placed on the legal ground set out in KVKK m.6/3, namely processing by persons under an obligation of confidentiality for the purpose of carrying out medical diagnosis, treatment and care services.
The e-mail service is provided by Google LLC (Gmail); correspondence may therefore be stored on servers located abroad. Correspondence is retained until your request has been concluded and for the retention periods arising from legislation, and is deleted thereafter. Your data are not shared with third parties except where required by obligations arising from legislation.
When You Visit the Site
The site's hosting service is provided by Cloudflare, Inc. When you access the site, technical records such as your IP address, browser information and time of access may be kept for a short period on the hosting provider's servers for the purposes of the site's security and operation (KVKK m.5/2(f)).
This site does not use cookies for analytics or marketing purposes. Fonts are loaded from the site's own server.
Third-Party Content
Videos on the condition pages are displayed using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and the map on the appointment page is displayed using Google Maps. When this content loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google; when you play a video, Google's own cookie and privacy policies apply.
Your Rights
Pursuant to KVKK m.11, you have the right to learn whether your personal data are processed; to request information about such processing if they have been processed; to learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data are used in accordance with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom the data are transferred domestically or abroad; to request their rectification if they have been processed incompletely or inaccurately, and to request their erasure or destruction; to object to the processing; and to request compensation for damage if you suffer damage as a result of unlawful processing.
